CRAZY COUNTDOWN!

This is one of my favorite pics (taken in SF on the beach.) Hoodies and a beach? Sign us up!
So by now we are in full swing of trying to get it all done and doing a pretty good job I think. Getting some RSVP's back and finishing up the details. It's been an interesting experiment in time management but we've pulled it off. Chris is starting to have nightmares about his tux not being hemmed and things not being finished properly but I'm not. It'll be lovely and everyone will have fun and it will be great. Feel free to email or call us if you have any questions or anything! But to hold you over here's some quick answers:
a) there's NO seating assignments
b) no sit down dinner only a buffet table of "finger apps" but they are for vegans, veggies and meat eaters delighters and there should be good amount
c) there will be gnomes
d) we made an awesome take away gift - again with the help of Jenna Talbott
e) I am having a bachlorette party bus party, watch out world
f) Chez is not doing anything like that he is civilized
g) sorry it's a cash bar, we do know you people
h) there is going to be a photobooth and I will try to get into it with almost everyone

HOPE YOU LOVE THEM!

We hope you like our "vintage" inspired postcards. We worked closely with Jenna Talbott and really are in love with them. Just to give you a little information about the images on the cards (just in case you don't know.)

The INVITE is a picture taken by Chris's amazing mother Paula. It is us sitting in front of Baker's Pond which is the Milne Family Home in Brewster, Cape Cod. Most of you know it but if you don't it IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH. My grandmother Jean Garigliano lived there and it is my most favorite and safest place.

The RSVP is a picture of the Mickevich Family Home in South Boston, MA. It has been Christopher's home most of his life and where we live now with his talented and wonderful mother (and upstairs his uncles and grandmother.)

The TRAVELING THERE is just so special. It is a picture of my great grandparents James and Marie Corrigan in Daytona Beach, FL. Chris proposed to me with Gram Re's engagement ring that I loved to see on her hands. My grandmothers were idols and so shaped who I am and what I love, I cannot express in words what my Grandmother Marie meant to me, she passed a few years ago a day short of her 101st birthday and I think of her every day.

On an amazing note also when I went to book the Squantum Yacht Club the only Saturday they had open this fall was October 3rd. the anniversary of my great grandparents marriage is October 3rd, special? YES. It was meant to be.

We are so excited. It is going to be a great day.

REGISTRY

And Good Evening to you all, we hope you are well.
This is the registry section of our blog. We will be linking, updating and attempting to curb our many material wishes here on this page. Below are links to the various places we have registered under our given names (though some of you only know him as Checkers, he does have a "real name" funny huh?) Regardless, we are registered at the following places under Honah Lee Milne and Christopher Lynch to be wed on October 3, 2009. Though knowing us you know we appreciate art, treasures and items of shall we say interest, especially ones crafted by our talented friends and loved ones. But the best gift will be to see everyone at our party.
Thank you.
